DESCRIPTION:The_Space is happy to welcome Ashish Dha! \nThis Friday (01/12\, 19:30 – 21:30) Ashish Dha will conjure an embroidery of musical traditions from far and wide. Beyond Western classicism\, his meditative singing showcases a new genre he dubs Hindustaanee 2.0. Many of his pieces not just\ntickle the senses\, but also tease the mind\, as they lay emphasis on narrative content that is recognizable to the untrained music listenir. Other musicians will be welcomed to join the stage and embellish the experience. Doors open at 19:30\, and the performance starts at 20:00. \nGet in the zone and listen to Ashish’s music below: \n \nTo follow up on Friday’s sapient music\, Ashish will host a workshop (02/12\, 14:30 – 17:00) in which he explores the fundamentals of raag-based improvisation. Whilst a spot to participate in the workshop costs 15€\, we are happy to welcome musicians without the means to afford it.
